- The average 1st time computer buyer walks into a store
- (note: there are very few amiga dealers anywhere)
- and looks at the pretty picture on the screen.
- I don't mean ham or VGA of 24 bit whatever,
- the pretty screen they look at is one of a serious application.
- Can anyone name an amiga application that has the "looks"
- of a macintosh (barf) application. The average low end user doesn't
- care about the power of the OS, they want it easy to use.
- Even though I love my amiga, I still can't recommend it for a
- person who has never touched a computer. How about making the
- OS use a 640x480x256 screen? How about setting a standard for icon
- colors and sizes. Some applications have icons that take up the entire
- screen! That is just stupid! This is the only way to attract
- 1st time buyers. After that, they'll be hooked!
