- I have a few questions about ADPro, Morphplus and FRED.
-
- I now own both AdPro version 2.1.5 and Morphplus version 1.1.2 and
- it seems that really the same program. Is this true? Are than any reasons to
- keep both programs around on my hard disk?
-
- Has anyone used FRED much? I have been experimenting with it on and
- off for the last few days and I am getting marginal results.
- I am just trying to a simple fade over 10 frames using the Anim
- compositer. The alpha sequence is giving me a bit of trouble.
- I am running FRED version 001.002.002 (that is what the about
- screen says). I understand what the alpha sequence is about.
- But if I have a 10 frame animation do I need 10 grayscale iff in
- the alpha sequence? I was also trying to rotate images over a sequence.
- Frankly, I find the documentation a bit lacking.
-
- I was getting confused with the following:
-
- I was trying to a countdown from 10 to 0. I set each number
- to appear for 30 frames (1 second). I would like each image
- to rotate for 359 degrees over 30 frames and so on.
-
- My confusion was coming from how to apply the perspective operator
- to each frame. Do I apply the operator to the 30 frames as a group?
- I never did get any results because ADPro was complaining about the images
- needing to be in the Raw format. I realized later that I should tried
- to use the twirl operator but still my confusion remains with how I
- should be applying the operator to the portions of a seqeunce.
-
- Last question: I heard that there is a 'how to use' book for ADPro coming
- out. When????
-
- Incidentally, I took a look at ImageFX before buying MorphPlus and I
- was quite impressed by the interface and the fact that ImageFX supported
- configurable virtual memory. ImageFX seemed to have a much more configurable
- environment than ADPro and Morphplus.
