- Not necessarily. Some of the best pics I've ever seen on a standard
- chipset Amiga have come from converting 24-bit IFFs or Jpegs to
- PCHG format with the shareware program HamLabPlus. And it only costs
- $25 if you want to register it. You can also convert to the 'dynamic'
- or 'sham' modes, but PCHG is superior to either. And I generally find
- that using hi-res interlaced 'sliced 7' mode to give the best results on
- resolutions of 640x480 or above.

- My experience with HamLabPlus has been that only about 1 in 20 *doesn't*
- convert well. Anyone on a budget should really check out this program.
