- GMM> Rend24 1.05 is a very fast "do it all" program when it comes to
- GMM> graphics,
- GMM> and I love it except for a few quirks I haven't been ab;e to solve.
-
- GMM> All I want to use the program for is to view GIF and JPG files, but on
- GMM> many GIF files the output is scrambled... is this due to the fact that
- GMM> some of the pics do not have horizontal and vertical resolutions that
- GMM> are divisible by 8 as was mentioned in the docs? On several GIF files
- GMM> the program actually GURUS! It seems like such a trivial thing is
- GMM> causing
- GMM> major problems on such a fine tuned program... and the author says this
- GMM> is the last version! Why do all the other programs that I've read GIF
- GMM> files perfectly and this one can't? Am I doing something wrong?

- I have all the same problems you do Geoff, but no answers. I've
- heard that Thomas Krehbiel, the author of ViewTek and Rend24 was also a
- player in the ImageF/X Team. I got a look at ImageFX at WOCA Toronto
- and it looked quite good, I admire a program that follows the Amiga
- Style Guide. If that program is written as well as the 2 PD programs
- Mr Krehbiel wrote, I'll buy it! Maybe our problems will be solved in
- the commercial versions?
