  15. No, interrupts are not disabled. You can use the mouse to stop the scan at
  16. any time by clicking on an appropriate gadget, and it multitasks fine, with
  17. the caveat that what you do have is a task that is quite busy (not waiting)
  18. receiving scanner data - so there is quite a load on the system, same as if
  19. you had a raytracer running at normal priority.

  21. It's multitasking friendly, and in fact is another task that executes and
  22. communicates with Imagemaster as it runs.
