- No, interrupts are not disabled. You can use the mouse to stop the scan at
- any time by clicking on an appropriate gadget, and it multitasks fine, with
- the caveat that what you do have is a task that is quite busy (not waiting)
- receiving scanner data - so there is quite a load on the system, same as if
- you had a raytracer running at normal priority.

- It's multitasking friendly, and in fact is another task that executes and
- communicates with Imagemaster as it runs.
