-
- Well Marc, I missed who said the last quote, but you're right, amiga's do
- need CD-ROM drives! And they can have them! Just go out and buy AsimWare
- Innovations' AsimCDFS and a nice scsi cd-rom drive and yer all set! The
- only difference between the Amiga and the PC/MAC (besides the newest machines
- that are bundled with cd rom drives) is that when a user goes out to buy a
- cd-rom drive for his computer (PC/MAC) the drive will probably be bundled with
- a controller (PC) and drivers (PC/MAC). That is due to the market share
- situation.
- But buying a CDFS for the Amiga is possible and not expensive. you can use
- most of the CDTV titles, clip art, FF disks, Gif cd's, fonts (un-protected),
- and hopefully new software for the Amiga will come out in CD-ROM versions.
- (VideoToaster 3.0 is rumoured to be released on CD-ROM.)
