  12. This has always been a problem. The problem often arises when you use very
  13. subtle light changes, even with 24 bits. We have changed from an integer
  14. format image to a floating format image and this has improved the quality
  15. of our images. I don't know if 32 bits will solve the problem any better.
  16. Dithering can help. Gamma correction can help, if the problem is in the
  17. quality of your display devices.
