  12. I spent a lot of money when I purchased Art Department Pro complete
  13. with the Epson ES-300c and scanner software just to find none of
  14. it works worth beans.

  16. First off: The scanner support....

  18. Looks nice, but does it work? Well, as long as you don't mind disabling
  19. interrupts during each scan and your computer doesn't sport a 040
  20. processor, you may find it acceptable. However I'm running on a network
  21. which can't afford disabled interrupts, and their software doesn't like
  22. my 040 machine.

  24. The funny thing about the 040 problem is that they're not handling
  25. the cache correctly. The 040 has been around too long now for any
  26. excuse on this one.

  28. I called ASDG tech support. The answer, "We're working on it". Not the
  29. answer I expected. They should've been working on this last year.
  30. I would have been understanding last year when the 040's first
  31. came out.

  33. As for Art Department Pro.....

  35. I've never seen a image yet that didn't need a little smoothing or
  36. sharpening in certain areas of the image. With ADPro it's all or
  37. nothing. That's right you can't do that. You have to smooth the whole
  38. picture or smooth none at all. All operations within ADPro work this
  39. way. What a worthless piece of software when compared to ImageMaster.
