  19. !EPSobject isn't a PostScript-interpreter...
  20. It relies on a certain type of EPS files, where the PostScript 
  21. commands have certain defined abbreviations, like 'M' for 'move' etc.
  22. This is true for Encapsulated PostScript as made by Adobe Illustrator,
  23. but very few other programs define exactly the same abbrevations.
  24. So, to read *any* EPS file, you would need a better converter.

  26. There are also a PostScript program called 'distill', which can be run
  27. using GhostScript that take as input any PostScript file, and make
  28. it into a simpler EPS-file. Used two or more times one the same file,
  29. this seem to end up with a file that !EPSobject will read.
