- Today I upgraded a friend's A310 (4MB RAM, ARM3, Watford ST506, Acorn SCSI
- + CDFS, IOTA Scanner, Watford ArchiTablet) to RISC OS 3.10. Most things
- work fine, but one thing that doesn't is the Armadillo 16 bit sound
- sampler. According to Malcom, Armadillo went out of business some time ago
- so he can't ring them up to ask them about it. The symptoms are that when
- starting !Highnote, you either get a total machine hang, a "Branch through
- zero at location &3812CA4", or an "Internal error". (You have to start it
- in mode 12 to even get this far.) Does anyone know what the problem is,
- how to fix it, or know of anyone who might know? Has any other company
- picked up the rights to the Armadillo kit?
-
- The Watford ArchiTablet doesn't work either (it claims the tablet isn't
- plugged in to the serial port) but Malcolm is going to contact Watford
- about that.
