  12. I've made the following changes to the 3b1 archive here at Caltech,
  13. ftp.cs.caltech.edu:pub/3b1/, in the last month or so.

  15. gnucpio: This is the gnu version of cpio.  It also understands tar files.
  16.  
  17. tcsh: I've updated tcsh to version 6.03.
  18.  
  19. gcc: I've updated gcc to version 2.3.3.  The objects for gcc 1.42 have
  20.      been recompiled with gcc 2.3.3.
  21.  
  22. f2c: I've updated f2c.  The version is current as of the end of 1992.
  23.  
  24. J: I've updated J to version 6.2.
  25.  
  26. emacs: I've updated emacs to 18.59.  It includes Brant Cheikes' patches
  27.        for the 3b1 mouse.  This is not a complete distribution (in
  28.        particular, it has only a few of the lisp files).

  30. Fetch the file README for an overview, and the file Index for details
  31. about version numbers, etc.
