- Thanks to all who help me with the Packdisk.....
- I haven't tried it yet, but I will after I get off line.
- Now to other subjects.......
-
- 1) I am trying to connect an AT&T 4024 modem to my 3b1 and I have had
- no such luck. I am running UNIX 3.51m which has the fix for the
- 4024 but the problem seems to be in the dip switch settings. If
- anyone else out there is using one of these, please email me about
- how the modem and the 3B1 are set up. I have tried the different
- modes of AT&T Protocal at 2400 for the modem, but I can't seem to get
- it to work.
-
- 2) I am looking for WD2010 chips to replace the WD1010 chip in the 3B1
- I need one for a friend, and hopefully 2 more for my other 3B1's.
-
- 3) While here on Christmas Break, I connected both of the 3B1's via
- the serial port and a null modem connector. I lhave set them
- up doing uucp transfers, but I would like to know if there is any
- way to configure a serial port to be Caller and Host instead of
- just one. I Have to send mail from a certain 3B1 before I can
- get a connection via uucp. I would like to be able to start a
- uucp transfer from either machine instead of just one. I have
- type the uucp command on one machine and then mail from the other
- one or physically run the uucico program to get them to connect.
- Any easier way to do this without reconfiguring bother serial
- ports?
-
-
- Thanks,
- Chris
