  21. This is the approach taken by HP (I don't know if it was their idea or
  22. from POSIX or whatever): simply set the environment variable LANG as
  23. "dutch", "finnish" &c, and lo!, sort, globbing, &c begin to work as
  24. they should in the specified language.

  26. (There are some bugs yet, and in fact I have to set LANG as
  27. "finnish.iso88591" as there's also the HP Roman-8 character set, but
  28. the idea is right, IMHO.)
