- I have a draft of an FAQ on MIME, the Internet multimedia mail format.
- It was posted to comp.mail.mime, but if you missed it there or would
- like teh current draft please drop me a line.
-
- I have two parts of the FAQ I'd like to fill out with answers.
-
- First is the internationalization part - if you have details or
- experience or working software that properly handles any language
- other than net.english, please mail me details. Preferably or
- ideally mail me details in a MIME message in your native language,
- with all character sets tested so far as they go.
-
- Second is the interaction of MIME and netnews. I have heard rumblings
- of MIME support in both INN and C news, and have seen code that
- glues MIME support into GNUS. If you have projects or working code
- please let me know. If there's language for son-of-1036 in the
- works that would be useful too. Of particular interest is code
- that copes gracefully with the existing news systems that aren't
- net.english, ie. fj.*, relcom.*, sfnet.* in a way that's consistent
- with MIME encodings.
-
- thanks muchly,
-
