  13. I am looking for some help with algorithms that can be used to generate
  14. "golden" numbers with certain properties. These number will be used to
  15. produce telephone numbers that are hopefully easy to remember. For example,
  16. some "good" numbers are:
  17.  
  18.   647-1234, 647-2345, 647-4441, 647-2222 etc.
  19.  
  20. Some "bad" numbers are:
  21.  
  22.   647-3964, 647-0837
  23.  
  24. There may be a more precise term to describe such numbers, but I am not
  25. aware of it.

  27. If anyone can help, I would be pleased to hear from them. Any source code
  28. in Pascal, Fortran, C, or BASIC would also be particularly appreciated.
