- We are in the process of evaluating several CM systems. I am looking for
- software (source + [repository] + make files) to be used in the evaluation
- process.
-
- Could anyone point me in the right direction for public domain
- software that I could use for my purposes. The desirable characteristics
- of such software are, in order of importance:
-
- 1. Number of modules (files): 500 - 3000
-
- 2. Executables are built using make
-
- 3. The software is organized hierarchally (not all files are
- dumped into one directory).
-
- 4. Language C/C++ (other languages are ok if public domain
- compilers are avaiable on Sun).
-
- 5. Large number of versions per file.
-
- Pointers to any reasonably large piece of software are appriciated,
- even if it does not meet the above criteria.
