- SE reading-lists are fine ... but I'm sure you may have wondered just
- who are the 'key' people in each of the software engineering areas and
- why are they considered 'key'? ( I deliberately leave the definition
- of 'key' up to *you* )
-
- Now each of us probably have an idea on who we think are 'key' and
- why - this will undoubtedly differ from person to person.
-
- One possible definition of 'key' is an author of a article/book that
- has been cited again and again (e.g. Brook's, "The Mythical Man-Month:
- Essays on Software Engineering").
-
- I would like to create a ranked list of "frequency of being cited" (
- most cited to least cited ) of such authors and see what the resulting
- list looks like.
-
- Q:"Do you know if such a list already exists and where I can get a
- copy of it?"
-
- Any suggestions? (Please reply by e-mail)
-
- Thanks in advance!
