- I have recently obtained Khoros and it looks great. However, there is one
- type of operation that I am particularly interested in (right now), and it
- must exist in Khoros, but I cannot find any reference to it in the
- Khoros manuals (Volumes 1 and 2 so far). So, I thought I might get a
- quick response from one of you.
-
- I simply want to load an image and use the mouse to define irregularly-shaped
- regions of interest; e.g., clouds, snow cover, etc. I would then like to
- save this mask as a separate file/image, where all pixels within the
- region(s) of interest are assigned one value and all pixels outside receive
- a different value. Additionally, I would like to see simple statistics for the
- masked areas; e.g., the mean and standard deviation.
-
- I would appreciate any help that I can get on this. I'm sure I would
- eventually figure it out myself. On the other hand, it seems as though
- an operation like this should be well explained in the manual, which it
- isn't.
-
- Thanks.
