  15. I am looking for more info on Spatial light modulator developed by NTT.  It
  16. appeared in Laser Focus World, May 1990 issue.

  20. In April (1990), Nippon Telgraph and Telephone announced the development of
  21. an image processor that does not need to convert images into electroni
  22. signals to process them.  The sytem includes a new high-speed spatial light
  23. modulator based on ferroelectric liquid crystals, with a response time of
  24. only 70 microsecond.  The processor operates at more than 2000 frames/s.  A
  25. detailed report will follow.
