  14. About six years ago Sitex supplied us with a low-cost marine Loran
  15. receiver which had a BNC connector that provided pulses at the "group
  16. repetition interval". I used the GRI signal in a system to monitor
  17. oscillator drift in some of our equipment for precision frequency
  18. measurement. I think that Scitex charged just the list price (~600. at
  19. the time) for this. With this starting point, one only needs digital,
  20. rather than RF, talent.
