- About six years ago Sitex supplied us with a low-cost marine Loran
- receiver which had a BNC connector that provided pulses at the "group
- repetition interval". I used the GRI signal in a system to monitor
- oscillator drift in some of our equipment for precision frequency
- measurement. I think that Scitex charged just the list price (~600. at
- the time) for this. With this starting point, one only needs digital,
- rather than RF, talent.
