I am working on a project to tie Elementary Schools through Community Colleges
to the Internet called The Knowledge Network.  One of the schools I'm currently
working with is L.A. Community College.  They have a campus wide Ethernet
System using Gateway Communications G/Ethertwist cards tied to a Novell File
Server.  I am trying to find some drivers like the Clarksons that would allow
me to let them still use their Novell Server, but also PD TCP/IP software like
NCSA, KA9Q, mail readers, and gopher agents and such.  The Cards use a NS 8390
chip.  I haven't been able to find these cards listed anywhere or an equivalency
listed anywhere.  I have a deadline of Jan 8 to have all the software tested
(Incl the PD Apps) and ready to install on their campus machines.  In trying to
work with Gateway's Tech Support, I felt they were not knowlegeable on PD TCP
Software, and although I downloaded everything that looked promising from their
BBS, I'm still not off the ground.  Any assistance anyone could render would be
appreciated.  Also any suggestions for a good collection of PD and their source
for use by the college would also be helpful.  They currently use CC:Mail on the
Novell Server.
