- There is a beta of such a thing. I haven't tested it until now.
- I'm somewhat critical regarding the licensing stuff - especially since the
- author seems to have used a lot of the ODIPKT code...
-
- I append parts of the README:
-
- -------------------------- oditrpkt.com ----------------------------
- ODITRPKT.COM 1.0 BETA
-
- Oditrpkt open BETA test.

- Terms and Conditions ( Delete this software now if you feel unable
- to abide by these conditions )
- _________________________________________________________________________
-
- You may use this BETA version of oditrpkt for a month free of charge
- after that time I should have worked out how I will distribute it and
- also all of the copyright information. This executable should not be
- placed in any other locations unless it will give access to persons
- which would not be able to get it otherwise. This will give me freedom
- to change and update as needed without haveing many copies floating around.
-
- I do not know if I will distribute it as freeware or shareware or even
- at all. The source will not be available for some time except to persons
- with a valid reason for haveing it. I will consider it an illegal if
- you reverse engineer the executable to get the source and will take
- whatever legal actions I can against you. I reserve all rights of ownership
- of this software and although It may be on your machine it is mine and
- as such if I tell you to destroy all copies you may have in your possession
- you must do so! If you do download this you should send me an email message
- so that I can inform you when I have modified it so that you can get the
- newer versions.

-
- At present everything looks good and is working as it should.I haven't
- gotten the copyright stuff all finished yet. Please tell me If you see
- anything that you think may be illegal about the way I have written it up.
-
- I have not made many changes between the way you load up oditrpkt.com
- from odipkt.com. The board you type on the command line is still the
- logical board number minus one, where the logical board number is the
- number you get when the MLID's are loading up.
-
- [...]
-
- Both lansup.com and token.com have been tested and have worked for
- an IBM card. It seems reasonable to expect any card which supports ODI
- and has a MLID for it will work with this driver. Please give me
- reports if they don't and I'll see what I can do.
-
- At present I have ARP, RARP, and TCP/IP all working.
