- The RFC1341 describing the Multimedia Internet Mail Extentions solves
- a very critical issue for Non-English users in regard to charactersets.
-
- We're starting to use MIME on UNIX machines, but I have not seen any
- mailreaders for MS-DOS who is using MIME yet. Is there anyone working
- on implementing MIME on MS-DOS?
-
- Programs like NUPop, POPmail etc. has done a great job so far, but with
- lots of MIME encoded messages starting to come around, they will have
- problems with charactersets, extracting pictures, documents etc. in an
- easy way.
-
- If possible I would also like to hear what the different vendors are
- planning? How far of is products supporting MIME?
-
- Anyhow, my message is: I'd like to see mail programs with MIME support !
-
- I'll prefer answers in mail.
