  17. The only share-ware implementation of TCP/IP for DOS is the Trumpet suite of 
  18. TCP/IP applications from Peter Tattam (peter@psychnet.psychol.utas.edu.au).  
  19. At least I think that all off his apps. are shareware.  This suite includes 
  20. Trumpet -- it's flagship newsreader, an IRC client, Telnet/FTP/Chat/Whois/
  21. Archie clients.

  23. Other public domain implementation of TCP/IP for DOS that are available from 
  24. free include the NCSA Telnet suite of TCP/IP applications and the CUTCP 
  25. suite of applications.

  27. Also there are several implementations of Ka9Q NOS/NET available from PCs.

  29. Other standalone PC TCP/IP applications that are interesting include 
  30. PC-Gopher and POPmail/PC (Univ. of Minnesota), and NuPOP (Northwestern U.)

  32. All of the applications described above user Crynwr style packet drivers 
  33. which are available from several sites -- try oak.oakland.edu in the 
  34. directory pub/pc/pktdrvr.
