- There is a port of the Unix client for PCs developed at Qualcomm. It
- requires that FTP Software's TCP/IP kernal be loaded in order to run, however,
- so unless you own PC/TCP you're out of luck. It can be found in the following
- location via anonymous ftp:
-
- PC (DOS)
- --------
- Client: pcph 1.0b4
- Site: uxc.cso.uiuc.edu
- Directory: net/ph/pc
- Filename(s): pcph.com
- pcph.README
-
- Pcph allows you to login and edit records in interactive mode. If you just want
- a client that allows you to query various servers, there's one incorporated
- into PC Gopher II and also in NUPop. You can find PC Gopher II at:
- boombox.micro.umn.edu in the pub/gopher/PC_client directory. NUPop is a pop
- mail client that can be retrieved from casbah.acns.nwu.edu (I forget the
- directory name).
-
- That's about all I know of for DOS.
