- Briefly, the answer is yes. Presto will accelerate local FS writes in
- exactly the same way as it does NFS writes. In fact, its default mode
- of startup is to accelerate all file systems it finds in /etc/fstab.

- Technically, Presto doesn't even know the difference between NFS & UFS
- as it does its stuff by intercepting I/O just before it would get to
- the disk driver level.
