  17. Briefly, the answer is yes.  Presto will accelerate local FS writes in
  18. exactly the same way as it does NFS writes.  In fact, its default mode
  19. of startup is to accelerate all file systems it finds in /etc/fstab.

  21. Technically, Presto doesn't even know the difference between NFS & UFS
  22. as it does its stuff by intercepting I/O just before it would get to
  23. the disk driver level.
