  10. I am having trouble printing from a MAC to the Sun's printer using CAP 6.0.
  11. The lwsrv README file is sketchy and incomplete, raises more questions
  12. than answers.  As a consequence I don't have any confidence that I have
  13. things set up right.  I managed to capture a ProcSet file running lwsrv
  14. with the -t option (capturing a tracefile), but none of the suggested
  15. editing seems relevant.  There is no hex defined for "smooth" or "stretch"
  16. functions.  In fact there is nothing that ends in "cleartomark".

  18. When I try to print, using either NewsPrint or Ghostscript, I get an
  19. undefined command "T".  This apparently (?) comes from something near the
  20. beginning that reads:

  32. Probably this error is just fallout from not having things arranged right.
  33. I suspect that there is a lot that isn't set up right.  The PostScript
  34. submitted for printing is full of %!PS-Adobe-2.0 Query things, % *EOF*,
  35. and other stuff that I am not convinced that NewsPrint will understand.
  36. However, I could be completely wrong.

  38. Has anyone set up to print on a Sun using NewsPrint (or other way) from a 
  39. MAC?  I assume there must be many.  Perhaps you could share the relevant
  40. files and command line arguments for lwsrv; it would certainly be appreciated.

  45. p.s. relevant system info: macIIci has the latest Apple Ethernet card in it;
  46. I am running MAC-OS 7.1, I have selected Ethertalk in the chooser, I run
  47. CAP with the Ethertalk interface (Sun NIT).  I have SunOS 4.1.1.  The
  48. file sharing part of CAP works just fine.
