  13. This problem exists under HP-UX 8.0 with CAP 6.0 Patch level 126
  14. (it also was in patch level 100, but I didn't notice it.)

  16. When the "Network Trash Folder" is set up by aufs (in afpos.c),
  17. it leaves the ownership of this directory as root, rather than
  18. changing it to the ownership of the parent directory. This
  19. is not a problem on the Suns/Solbornes. The result of this
  20. is that the user is told that the item cannot be left in the
  21. trash and must be deleted immediately. On the working systems
  22. the user is not prompted unless they attempt to terminate
  23. their aufs connection and have not emptied the trash (Mac OS 7.1).

  25. A quick workaround would be to chmod this directory 770 so that
  26. the user could write in it, but I'd prefer to have it set
  27. correctly.
