  12. I have already apologized privately to Dave.  I overreacted considerably, in
  13. retrospect, and am appropriately chastened.  Dave's followup article was most
  14. gracious, and contained useful information, which mine did not.  I'll try in
  15. the future to take larger grains of salt with my reading.

  23. Fractal book comes with a source code diskette.  Both are under $50 US.  The
  24. Bit-Mapped Graphics book, in addition, offers some coverage of GIF and TIFF 4.0
  25. formats, and mine came with a coupon in the back for a diskette for $24.95.
