  11. Hello,
  12.        I have been using an Archive 2150S tape drive with my Amiga 2000 /
  13. GVP 33 MHZ Combo board.  I'm using BTN v2.1 and tar to do backups.  My
  14. problem is "random" but increasingly frequent SCSI PHASE ERRORs which
  15. cause tar to abort the backup operations.  Does anyone out there have
  16. any idea what the problem is?  I've suspected BTN, tar, dirty heads, etc.
  17. I've tried several different things including cleaning the heads, using
  18. different versions of tar, BTN, etc.  Now, I wonder if it is a controller
  19. or tape drive problem.  The tape drive has the -07 ROM if that makes any
  20. difference.
