- Hello,
- I have been using an Archive 2150S tape drive with my Amiga 2000 /
- GVP 33 MHZ Combo board. I'm using BTN v2.1 and tar to do backups. My
- problem is "random" but increasingly frequent SCSI PHASE ERRORs which
- cause tar to abort the backup operations. Does anyone out there have
- any idea what the problem is? I've suspected BTN, tar, dirty heads, etc.
- I've tried several different things including cleaning the heads, using
- different versions of tar, BTN, etc. Now, I wonder if it is a controller
- or tape drive problem. The tape drive has the -07 ROM if that makes any
- difference.
-
- Anyone out there have any helpful suggestions?
