- Hi Netland !
-
- I have a disk problem and seek advice ! I run Dell Unix on two
- computers, a 433SE and a 450SE (Dell computers). Everything was okay
- on these computers with one drive on each. Then I installed added a
- CONNER CP3540 to the 433SE that had already a MICROPOLIS 650Meg
- (reference unknown, it's a drive sold by Dell when I ordered the
- computer). I started to have 'SCSI : HA 0 - Incoming message not
- found' messages on the console (I've heard that this message comes
- from the SCSI driver and that a new driver has been released. However,
- I'm not able to find it (no ftp access) and Dell France never heard of
- it) and when the disk load is very heavy the system hangs !
- Of course, I checked terminators, SCSI ID, etc...
-
- I added a HP 1.05 giga disk on the Dell 450SE and I also started to
- see 'Incoming message not found' on the console but there everything
- runs fine.
-
- Any hint welcome...
