  17. A "very good price" for this drive is probably under $200US.  These
  18. Tandbergs are probably pulls/refurbs from IBM RS/6000's.  I'm using
  19. one with an Amiga, and it is servicable, but by no means quick, and
  20. has a problem with reconnect/disconnect (I've disabled that with
  21. my SCSI controller).

  23. If you can live with the quirks (and I can, for my light backup
  24. uses), then it is usable. However, it is not the speediest of
  25. drives (anywhere from 2M-4M per minutes).
