- I have a FD-1660 controller and am looking for some information about
- the type of performance I should expect from the controller. It is
- hooked to a Rodime 3259T and is giving XFER rates of:
- @860KB/s - Norton SI
- @795KB/s - CoreTest
- The system I am using these components in is a 386/40 with an AMI BIOS.
- I was hoping to have transfer rates of 1MB/s or more, is this possible
- with the FD1660? Are there settings that I can implement to alter the
- DMA? The information I received with the card and drive is a bit
- limited, so any help from users on the net is appreciated.
-
- Further, if anyone can supply me the phone# for Future Domain I would
- appreciate that as well.
-
- Please respond to me personally rather than posting to the net.
-
- Thanks alot and Merry Christmas,
-
