- Subject: IBM RT ESDI drive and Emulex MD21 info?
- Lines: 15
-
- I've got 2 IBM RT 70meg ESDI drives which I'd like to attach to an
- Emulex MD21 and use on my Sun3. However, the machine won't recognize the
- drives.
- I have the MD21 configured as SCSI target 0, the MT02 tape drive
- controller as SCSI target 4, the MD21 is terminated.
- I tried attaching the RT drive to it, then tried to get SunOS format to
- recognize it. No luck.
- Does anyone know what the DIP switches on the RT represent?
- Is there anything special I'd need to know about this drive? Has anyone
- ever used one on a Sun?
-
- Thanks for any help and I'll summarize
