- Greetings Once Again.
-
- I have a friend who has some data written out to a DAT (used tar then dd to
- tape). The data is ASCII. He's since moved to another machine, running DOS
- and he would like to recover the data using a WangDAT (I think he said it was
- compatible with a "1300?"...). He has an UltraStor SCSI controller. Are
- there any utilities I can get for him to enable him to read the data to the
- DOS disk on his new machine? What about any TAR's available for DOS?
-
- I wanted to guide him to 386BSD, but it has no DAT drivers yet written and
- I have little experience in writing my own.
-
- Can anyone help?
-
- Thanks
-
- Kolin
