- Greetings!
-
- I need to be able to use a DeskWriter/DeskJet 550C on both the Macintosh
- and PC-compatible machines. I know I can do it one of two ways:
-
- 1) Buy a DeskWriter 550C and homebrew some strange serial cable for the
- DeskWriter -> PC interface. The question is: Is there a driver that
- will allow me to use this situation? Or I could put in a LocalTalk
- interface into the PC, but again, I don't think that there is a COLOR
- driver for the PC to make this work.
-
- 2) Buy a DeskJet 550C and get some kind of Grappler interface for the
- Macintosh. Again, what do I use for drivers for the Macintosh? It is my
- understanding that the D/W looks for different signals from the D/J.
-
- Help! Has anyone done this?
-
- Jeff
