  11. Greetings!

  13. I need to be able to use a DeskWriter/DeskJet 550C on both the Macintosh 
  14. and PC-compatible machines.  I know I can do it one of two ways:

  16. 1) Buy a DeskWriter 550C and homebrew some strange serial cable for the 
  17. DeskWriter -> PC interface.  The question is:  Is there a driver that 
  18. will allow me to use this situation?  Or I could put in a LocalTalk 
  19. interface into the PC, but again, I don't think that there is a COLOR 
  20. driver for the PC to make this work.

  22. 2) Buy a DeskJet 550C and get some kind of Grappler interface for the 
  23. Macintosh.  Again, what do I use for drivers for the Macintosh?  It is my 
  24. understanding that the D/W looks for different signals from the D/J.

  26. Help!  Has anyone done this?
