- I was wondering if anyone on the net could provide me
- with some help/input/information concerning printers, more
- specifically the issue of voltage and frequency differences
- overseas. I am planning to buy a portable printer or laser
- one for a friend who will be using it overseas mainly, hence
- requiring 220V/50Hz.
- Can he simply use a voltage converter, disgarding the
- frequency ? My knowledge in EE is quite limited. However, I
- would guess the frequency would come in play whenever there
- is a use of motors.
- I am mostly interested in the Deskjet portable/500, the
- Canon bj200 or else.
-
- Any help would be appreciated
-
- Thanks.
