  12. Looking for some Canon Laser engine guru...

  14. I have noticed that the Canon EP-S cartridges (used in the LaserWriter II 
  15. etc.) have two "configuration" selector blocks that operate switches in the 
  16. engine. These are rectangular plastic blocks that snap into holes in the 
  17. cartridge. All of the cartridges I have seen have one block installed (the 
  18. one further from the edge).

  20. I'd like to know what the four possible combinations mean. (I hope that one 
  21. might increase the fuser temp so that the toner won't flake off labels so 
  22. easily).

  24. The blocks are located at the end of the cartridge with the levers to open 
  25. the various shutters, and are about 0.25 x 0.5 x 0.38"
