- Looking for some Canon Laser engine guru...
-
- I have noticed that the Canon EP-S cartridges (used in the LaserWriter II
- etc.) have two "configuration" selector blocks that operate switches in the
- engine. These are rectangular plastic blocks that snap into holes in the
- cartridge. All of the cartridges I have seen have one block installed (the
- one further from the edge).
-
- I'd like to know what the four possible combinations mean. (I hope that one
- might increase the fuser temp so that the toner won't flake off labels so
- easily).
-
- The blocks are located at the end of the cartridge with the levers to open
- the various shutters, and are about 0.25 x 0.5 x 0.38"
-
- Any suggestions?
