  26. Well, to begin with, you did not tell if you know the command for zmodem...

  28. But it's my guess the real problem here is TELIX, not VMS.

  30. I can't talk here about ZMODEM, XMODEM, YMODEM etc. on VMS because I had to
  31. get myself the source for YMODEM (I could not find one for ZMODEM) and compile
  32. it with the VAX C because my site does not support anything but KERMIT.

  34. But I had an unix account until one week ago, and I never could get ZMODEM to
  35. work between TELIX running on my PC, and my unix account (ULTRIX running on a
  36. DEC machine I think), until I decided to use another program than TELIX...
  37. Anyway I ended up using YMODEM-g instead, which is faster (well, there is no
  38. error checking, but your phone line got to be pretty noiseless...)

  40. Anyway, do you know at least the command for ZMODEM?  (I know it's "sz/rz" on
  41. an unix system...). If you don't know the command and/or cannot find it, I can
  42. help you to get the source in C for the YMODEM protocol...  (no YMODEM-g
  43. option, but it's still faster than KERMIT or even XMODEM!)
