- Well, to begin with, you did not tell if you know the command for zmodem...
-
- But it's my guess the real problem here is TELIX, not VMS.
-
- I can't talk here about ZMODEM, XMODEM, YMODEM etc. on VMS because I had to
- get myself the source for YMODEM (I could not find one for ZMODEM) and compile
- it with the VAX C because my site does not support anything but KERMIT.
-
- But I had an unix account until one week ago, and I never could get ZMODEM to
- work between TELIX running on my PC, and my unix account (ULTRIX running on a
- DEC machine I think), until I decided to use another program than TELIX...
- Anyway I ended up using YMODEM-g instead, which is faster (well, there is no
- error checking, but your phone line got to be pretty noiseless...)
-
- Anyway, do you know at least the command for ZMODEM? (I know it's "sz/rz" on
- an unix system...). If you don't know the command and/or cannot find it, I can
- help you to get the source in C for the YMODEM protocol... (no YMODEM-g
- option, but it's still faster than KERMIT or even XMODEM!)
-
- I apologize to the netters for the non-VMS content of this post... :)
- (It's both posted on the net/Mail list and sent by email to Tandi)
