- Oops. In my last message, I said that access mode restrictions would likely
- be enforced either by the disk drivers or by a combination of the disk drivers
- and the I/O system. That makes no sense - the disk drivers have no under-
- standing of files. The real work would be in the XQP, plus again in the I/O
- system were access-mode restrictions enforced for all devices.
