- Isn't the official word that, beyond all the purely hype aspects of
- adding "Open" to the previously completely proprietary VMS, developers
- can now license the source code for porting to other platforms?
- A colleague returing from DECUS said DEC was openly apologetic,
- because some folks apparently thought "Open" meant "free." I would have
- referred these individuals to a good reality check service....
