- Question concerning using "dlogin" command on DECstation to login to
- VMS system (VAX,Alpha) via DECnet.
-
- On VMS side, I'm trying to suppress ^U, ^X, ^C, and ^Y. by setting
- TT2$M_PASTHRU flag by QIO call, but somehow it gets totally ignored if
- I'm connected by dlogin. It works fine if I'm making connection
- through TCP/IP via UCX or Multinet. What is the deal with this
- dlogin? On man page for "dlogin", it says,
-
- This utility uses a protocol called the Digital Network Architecture
- (DNA) command terminal protocol (CTERM). With dlogin, you can connect
- to any DECnet node that supports CTERM. DECnet-ULTRIX nodes support both
- incoming and outgoing virtual terminal connections.
-
- Does this go through totally different terminal driver?
-
- I appreciate if somebody could provide me of the solution. Please
- e-mail me. Thanks in advance.
