- They're from the DEC/Shell package, an early attempt at Unix compatibility
- under VMS. Unfortunately I don't have any documentation for these routines
- here. However, people have posted the info to comp.os.vms/Info-VAX in the
- past, so perhaps now that you know they're DEC/Shell routines, the info will
- be reposted.
