- MAIL_SERVER is the image fired up by incoming DECNET mail transfers. It
- has nothing to do with delivery of local mail. Presumably, it's privileged
- so that it can set the from address etc, which wouldn't happen if it were
- just calling the callable mail routines.

- MAIL calls MAILSHR calls MAILSHRP, which is a protected image which can go
- to kernel/exec mode which can do anything it damn well pleases. 8-)
