  16. For those on VMS 5.4 the correct minor ID of DECW$TRANSPORT_COMMON
  17. is 00000D.  Thats what it is on the Vax Station at work
  18. and that's what DEC say it should be, I asked.  However, having 
  19. sent out some beta software I have had two people in different parts
  20. of the world complain that their software don't run, and the problem
  21. has been traced to DECW$TRANSPORT_COMMON having the wrong minor ID
  22. of 00000C. ie. their DECW$TRANSPORT_COMMON is still at VMS 5.3
  23.  
  24. Does this sound familiar to anyone ?  If so, could you please E-mail
  25. me and I'll post a summary to the Net.  If not, could I trouble
  26. 1 or 2 people who are on 5.4 to ANALYZE/IMAGE DECW$TRANSPORT_COMMON
  27. and let me know what their minor ID is.  ( I think it's about the 5th
  28. line, but I'm not at work now, so I can't check for sure. )

  30. I hope this is clear, please let me know if it's not. One of the
  31. customers was in the US, the other in Japan.  I'm in Australia.  What I
  32. really need to know is is this mistake (which is what I assume it is)
  33. common.
