  11. had delivered and installed an Optical Autochanger. It is a Hewlett-Packard
  12. Model 20C (32 slots, two optical drives). We bought it from Exsys who have
  13. also provided a SCSI to DSSI interface (the Autochanger has a SCSI buss,
  14. and we wanted to use it on a Microvax 3400 with a DSSI disk interface),
  15. and some software. The software they sold with is is UIS-Archive and
  16. UIS-Media from International Structure Engineers, Inc. (ISE). We want to
  17. use this arrangement to archive large data files from four other VAXen
  18. in a DECnet LAN.

  20. I would like to discuss the experiances anyone who may be reading this
  21. message who have/had a similar configuration and need and what you did
  22. to solve problems like:

  24. How to eject or load media automatically with a DCL command procedure?
  25.  
  26.     There are set host/dssi commands to eject and load media but they do
  27.     not accept the input slot selection from a command file. I've tried
  28.     all of the standard logical names.

  30. Any suggestions or warnings on the contents of the AUX_COM_FILE for MEDIA.
