  29.    Unfortunatly true. I must agree with Chris.  The tone of Jeff's article
  30.  to me seemed like it was meant to provoke a flame. ( Did I read Jeff's 
  31.  article correctly?) --It seemed rather unwise to infer that Carl doesn't
  32.  have a real job.  Real flame-bait.  I mean, why add fuel to a fire that
  33.  should be dying out?  And why would someone ever suggest the view that
  34.  it may be better to bump out a query on comp.os.vms than to spend a few
  35.  minutes or hours browsing the manuals, provided they are there to be
  36.  browsed ?  This trivialized the newsgroup more than it already has been.
