- With VAXPascal 4.2 and VMS 5.4-1, I'm trying to write a program using
- $SETUAI system service to modify current "login failures" field in
- SYSUAF for given users. $SETUAI works well with any field (UAI$_ASTLM,
- UAI$_BIOLM, etc. etc.), but when using UAI$_LOGFAILS I obtain a
- "SS$_Badparam" condition value.
-
- Looking into the Grey Wall (volume "System Services Reference Manual")
- for $SETUAI module description, I found that UAI$_LOGFAILS field is NOT
- documented. It *IS* documented (and it works!) for $GETUAI system
- service.
-
- Question 1: Does $SETUAI System Service support field UAI$_LOGFAILS ????
-
- Question 2: how can I lower to zero LOGFAIL field in SYSUAF, for a
- given user, WITHOUT forcing this user to interactively log in and out?
-
- Thanks for any help. And Merry Christmas from Italy
