- In order to sign off from the Info Vax News list, you
- have to determine WHERE the mail is coming from. If you
- get full BSMTP headers, check specifically the
- "REPLY-TO" or "SENDER" headers. If BOTH or EITHER of
- those appear and the sender is INFO-VAX@ followed by some
- name, then the answer is to try the sender from that
- system, i.e. if the sender was:
-
- INFO-VAX@BITNIC.BITNET
-
- or
- INFO-VAX%BITNIC.BITNET@PUCC.PRINCETON.EDU
-
- Then you would want to reply to THAT specific listserv
- and ask it to sign you off the list.
-
- If the sender is something else, you would need to send
- a message to it and ask to stop the list; in my case,
- when I get messages on MCI Mail, the sender is
- "INFO VAX" / INFO-VAX@SRI.COM or INFO-VAX@KL.SRI.COM
-
- If this still doesn't work, take a copy of the message
- and forward it to me at TDARCOS@MCIMAIL.COM and I'll see
- if I can tell you whom is sending you the mail.
