- The procedure was simple enough that I was fairly confident that I got it right.
- I didn't want to take to time to actually test it as I felt that I could not
- afford to take that time away from what I should be doing. So, I put in a
- disclaimer. It's that or no response from me at all.

- I was more worried about typos than in logic problems.

- Not knowning fortran I didn't know about tabs. Since Fortran considers a tab
- to be just like any other character my comment obviously does not apply.
